Contains foraminifers of the Acarinina rotundimarginata Subb. and Hantkenina alabamensis Cushm. zones; radiolarians - Cenosphaera kizilkumensis Lipm, C. colinus Moks., Sponclodiscus obsoletus Krachen.; nannoplankton of the NP 15-16 Nannotetrina fulgens and Discoaster bifax zones.
Age
Previously attributed to the lower part of the early Eocene. After the decision of the MSK on changing the volume of the middle Eocene (358), it is considered in the volume of the Acarinina rotundimarginata and Hantkenina alabamensis zones of the middle Eocene (upper part of the Lutetian-lower part of the Bartonian stage).
